SOLD Bakewell-White Full Carbon Proto (Unfinished)
« on: December 31, 2006, 03:44:38 AM »
Edited:

Brand New

Unfinished

Bakewell-White Mini, sistership to Chris Sayers (403) which achieved an unofficial 3rd place in the 2003 Transat.

Full Carbon fibre hull, deck, bulkheads etc
Built using resin infusion so light weight.

This is an opportunity for someone who is lacking full funding for their Mini Campaign to get a new boat on the water at an affordable price.
Most of the structure is completed, needs keel bearings fitting and deck bonding on and foils fitting and other basic finishing.

Selling due to lack of sponsorship.

Boat is currently in New Zealand.

Please contact me by email for further details etc:

Hi Craig,

I was wondering if you had any more details about your boat.  I may be interested in buying it outright.  I'm looking to do a campaign in 2011 but it is early days just now.  I'm in New Zealnd just now for another month or so, before returning in November.  Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,

Matt

he did not finish 3rd on the transat but just on the 1st leg. Second leg was between 11th and 15th place, not sure ... but all this does mean nothing as it was out of the race
