Tour de France a la Voile replacement

Can a 950 be the new boat for the Tour de France?

Ok seal of the water ballast system.

Hi John,
Although the idea makes sense somehow, that will not happen. One of the main problem is obviously the beam of the boat (too wide to transport) + they need a one design, not a box rule... What they need is more something like an up to date and more offshore able version of the M30... Also something a bit more refined that the class 950s which are bit "rawer"...

Yes I have remember about the 3.000 m beam requirement.
