IRC Rating

I've spoken to RORC rating office here in the UK and they inform me that a Pogo 2 currently rates at 1041 under IRC.
Has anyone else within this forum ever approached RORC to get a certificate.

hello,
For a pogo 1 (from 1999) the IRC rating is 0.965
with a symetrical spinaker (72 m²)

You can ask a certificate (in french) on www.uncl.com, then search IRC

minis have badly very high IRC ratings, but it's always funny when ther is high wind to be with J80 or else downwind with big spinnakers...

Don't take any notice of an 8-year old IRc TCF except to compare it with otherboat's ratings from 1999. IRc numbers change every year, its the relationship between boats that count.

Also, don't forget that a trial certificate will only cost £24.05.
