Jefa Pilot Drive

Has anyone had any experience with the Jefa linear arm?
It was mentioned on another forum I had not heard of it.
The specs look good.

Looks like it weighs a ton and I don't know about having that motor exposed like that.......

Hi Jay,

The drive is below deck, not exposed at all.  I will check the weight against others.
The reliability claim, based on the engineering, makes sense when compared to hydraulics & the other electric drives like Raymarine.
A little extra weight for a heavy duty, dependable, drive may be an excellent trade-off,
The power use is pretty good too.
