mini boats alternative for training

hi to all,
need your advice, i'm trying to enter the mini class but right now i have a really small budget and want to know if there are good 26 foot boats to begin single handle racing?

For offshore, any little boat will do, its about mindset.
For speed, any fast dinghy with spi.

There is not really any boat that you can compare with it.
Or they are to slow and not enouhg sailarea. (like any 21 ft cabincruiser)
or to fast and not really offshore capable(like 49-er, melges)
