Thanks Andy, the TransAt was a tremendous thing. Was great to meet Thomas. If you are reading this Thomas, would love to see the pics you took.
Looks like the boat is sold. Sad to see it go but also nice to make a dent in the bills from this season.

SWE772: It is my understanding that Nacira #8 was launched in September. I would expect the boat will have Series status by next season.

It survives !!!!!!

We are please to announce that the NACIRA 650 production will be build from now on by the boatyard FR Nautisme from Lorient (France). The n°8 is beeing finished over there at the time beeing and will be launched begining of March in Lorient submarine base where all maximultihull and french major offshore racing projects are settle down

Francois Robert boat yard is well known from mini racers and offshore racers in general, last exemple beeing that Francois has built Giovani Soldini Class40 (design by Guillaume Verdier)  that won all races since her launching! On the top of that since Francois had raced himself two time the mini transat (1991 and 1995) and won the MiniFastnet in 2002 we know that his background in his yard and on the sea will be a real advantage for the NACIRA650

Accommodations in the boat has been reviewed in order to integrate the new insubmersibility Class Rule regulation.

Units 9 and 10 should be ready to be sell in May at a very special rate...

Did a short research,
The builder is respected as a person, its boatyard has other work too, and its based in Lorient where the CM is.
So it looks very good.
