What is the youngest entry in the mini transat

17 was youngest i believe, Boris Hermann.
Youngest Uk was James Bird, just turned 18.
youngest girl was elen i think..

what is th avereage of yougest on the transat
an other one  is what is the yougest in the qualifing races
finaly and i will stop what is the youngest to have done qualifinquations on his one mini

Oh man, so many questions.
Simple answer: You're not allowed to compete under the age of 18. That goes for all race of the Mini Class, I think, unless you're a co-skipper (not sure for that). You can do your qualification at what age you want, but it won't help you unless you're old enough to enter. No-one can say who was youngest in a normal qualification sail, I guess, but they might have been around 17, too. It would be logical. But no quali race, I'm pretty sure of that.

Actually the rules only say that people under the age of 18 must have a signed parental consent!

I am not sure how you can have the average of the youngest.... doesn't quite work that one!

Hi! I did my qualification races with 18, but the youngest to race in mini is my friend Davy Beaudart, who started with 16 I think.

I always heard I have been the youngest to do it. I started in La Rochelle with 19 years. Don't know it's true or not but I was beliving it!

I know Boris was at the most 19, James was 20.
