Wooden Mini's
« on: April 28, 2011, 02:58:14 AM »
So far in my research, I have found 2 maybe 3 semi-current wooden mini's.

I see radius chines and some that are squared off.

What are your opinions of these?
Dix vs Lucas vs e650

Of the Dix models, which is a better hull design?
Didi Mini Mk2 vs Didi Mini Mk3

Anyone have any real life experience with any of these models and have a real preference?

Thanks for your opinions

Cool little boat.  Looks like the website is gone.
Found here http://www.minitransat650.com/html/super_calin.html but super-calin.com is a junk site now.

I guess I should have qualified my question to include:
Currently Available
and
Home Built

Do not know the e650, linky ???

I prefer the Lucas design based on the experience of this designer in the mini scene.
No Dix or Lucas has been campaigned. So no experience on that.
