Looking for experience; New to Class
« on: November 22, 2007, 23:14:02 PM »
!_!   Minis look soooo exciting ....... I want one   !_!
Want to find advice; Want to try the experience; Want to join up with someone.
On the official site the contacts either don't work or seem too old (2006)? Why ?

I'm an 'older' dinghy sailor but very active about it.
Currently racing dinghies (Fireball, Laser, RS800) and used to race offshore 3/4-Ton.
Have a portfolio of international racing successes, so would want to race the thing HARD !
Its either a Mini-650 for my wife & I to race into retirement, or we get a foiling Moth/600 'before we die' !
To be realistic probably looking at a used production boat.
Live + work in Suffolk, UK, but prepared to travel to wherever ......

Please ....... ?
Anyone got any ideas ?
(speak German, if that helps, & schoolboy French ).

Ben

Hi Ben,

Are interested in chartering, or sharing in a charter, for training or a race in the Med in 2008.  A group of North Americans are planning to do this again - sailing Zeros. If you are interested please e-mail me: info@northamericanminitransat.com

Thanks Adrian,

Hope you received my email missive.

Yep, I'd happily look at your suggestions; ...... and this side of the 'pond' would be happy to travel across Europe to pick-up/tow a boat to wherever.
